Wicket Co. began with a batting glove that never fit and a bat that was never knocked in. We had spent a summer buying kit online from photographs and price tags, and losing a fortnight of each bat's life to a mallet we should never have needed. So we started weighing, pressing and grading everything ourselves, and writing it down.
Every willow that leaves us has been picked up, checked for grain and blemish, weighed to the ounce and knocked in to the point a club player can take it straight to the middle. We keep a short card, entry Kashmir to players' English willow, because a few honest choices beat sixty confusing ones. If it is not in our own bag, it is not on the rack.
We score from a small room in Melbourne and dispatch from the same address. Ask us anything about weight, pick-up or fit and you will get a straight answer from someone who has held the bat — not a call centre reading a spec sheet.

The club record.
